Forty years doesn't happen by accident. It happens because two people said yes to a community before that community even existed, and then kept saying yes, year after year after year. Rabbi Leibel and Goldie Baumgarten have spent four decades building a Jewish home for every season in the Hamptons. Everything that we now take for granted, the minyan, the classes, the holidays, the quiet phone call when someone needed one, started with them.
The Forty & Forward Tribute Journal is where we get to say thank you in a way that lasts a little longer than the evening itself. It's a simple way to mark the occasion alongside messages from friends, family, and fellow supporters, a nice keepsake for Rabbi Leibel and Goldie, and for the honorees who represent the past, present, and future of Chabad of the Hamptons.
Take out an ad in celebration of Rabbi Leibel & Goldie's forty years of devotion. Dedicate a page in honor of the Tugendhafts, the Steinmans, or the Sterns. Add your family's name simply because you want to be counted among those who care about this community's future. However you choose to be part of it, your page will still be there long after the toasts are over, a small but permanent thank you for everything that brought us here, and everything that is yet to come.
